Lila J. (Campbell) Coppola, 93, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 2, 2007 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

Her husband of 36 years, Anthony T. Coppola, Sr. died in 1973. She leaves her son, Anthony T. Coppola and his wife Antoinette of Hubbardston; her daughter, Karen M. Wolfe of Hubbardston with whom she lived; her sister, Elizabeth L. Stark of Worcester; her sister-in-law, Ann Coppola of Worcester; four grandchildren, Brenda M. and her husband Joseph R. St. Clair of Jefferson, Maria L. and her husband Raymond Pfeifle of Winchendon, Anthony T. Coppola, and Michael R. Coppola both of Fitchburg; five great-grandchildren; and several nephews & nieces.

Born in Providence Rhode Island, Lila was the daughter of Edward and Martha (McKaig) Campbell. She lived in Hubbardston for over 40 years and was a member of their Golden Age Club.

The Funeral for Mrs. Coppola will be held on Wednesday, March 7, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton St., Jefferson. Burial will take place in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, in the funeral home.
