Subscription Update Obituary

     Leona A. (Morin) Lebel, 89, died Thursday, May 22nd in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

     Her husband, Ambrose A. Lebel died in 2007. She leaves three sons, John A. Lebel of Worcester, Kenneth A. Lebel and his wife, Louise and Richard A. Lebel and his wife, Linda all of Millbury; a daughter, Carole Ann Graham of Winslow, ME; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Philemon D. and Anna (Couture) Morin, a son, Leonard A. Lebel, eight brothers and sisters, Joffre, Jane, Henri, Philemon, Eva, Francis, Marcella and Rene.

    Mrs. Lebel worked in the cafeteria for the Millbury School Department before she retired. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also an excellent cook and enjoyed have family and friends at her home for holidays and special occasions. She enjoyed the Red Sox’s, the Patriots and golf.

     Her Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 27th in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester. At Leona’s request, there are no calling hours. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, One River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
