Subscription Update Obituary

     Lena (Dadah) Pike, 93, of Land O’Lakes, Florida, formerly of Columbus Street, in Worcester, passed away, Wednesday, October 24, 2007, in Kindred Hospital, Tampa, Florida. Her husband of forty-six years, George V. “Spike” Pike, pre-deceased her in 1992. She leaves a daughter, Rosemary T. Bragg and her husband, James, with whom she lived; a brother, Francis Dadah of Deerfield Beach, FL; two sisters: Elizabeth Reardon of Franklinton, NC, and Eleanor Edenfield of Palmeadow, FL; two grandchildren: Colleen Bragg and her, fiancé Michael Talkington and Joseph Bragg and his fiancé, Crystal Fodor; her furry friend, Cheyenne; many nieces and nephews. Her sister, Vera Howarth, pre-deceased her on October 21. She was also predeceased by four brothers: Paul, John, Nelson, and Russell Dadah. She was born Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Frangia (Armey) Dadah and following the death of her own mother, she was raised by Rose (Tatro) Dadah, and lived all her life in Worcester, before moving to Florida several years ago.

     Mrs. Pike was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church.

     The funeral for Lena will be held Saturday, October 27, at 10 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
