Lena M. “Lee” (Sbrogna) Adamski, 96, longtime Auburn resident, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at The Overlook in Charlton.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Adam A. Adamski, Jr., who passed in 1988; and their loving son, Adam A. “Chub” Adamski, III, in 2015. Lee leaves her devoted daughter, Cheryl A. Pike and her husband Glenn, of Spencer; her cherished grandchildren, Shannon Pike, of Auburn, and Ryan Pike, of Spencer; great-grandchildren, Autumn and Seguin Shea, of Auburn, Sadie and Sawyer Pike, of Spencer; along with many nieces and nephews. Lee was also predeceased by her sisters, Antoinette (Sbrogna) Tortora, and Anna (Sbrogna) Coscia, and brothers Ralph, Emilio, Vincent, Phillip, Anthony, Joseph, Andrew, Domenic, and most recently Augustine “Gus” Sbrogna, Jr., who passed on Christmas Day in 2024.

Lena was born in Worcester on New Years Day in 1929, to the late Augustine Sbrogna, Sr., and Philomena (DeMalia) Sbrogna. She was raised and educated in Worcester as well. She worked for Washington Press in the 1980’s, then retired from RH White as a Bus Monitor with her best friend Marion Soucy after 10 years.

Lee’s greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thanksgiving in Vermont with Chub and the family were memories to cherish.

Lee’s family would like to extend a warm “thank you” to the amazing staff at The Overlook for their dedication to her incredible care. It will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Lee’s family between 9 – 10 AM on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central St., Auburn. Her funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM, and will be celebrated at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn. Burial will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
