Dad was always so proud of his rose bushes. He had several different kinds all around the front and back yard. Nothing could stop him from caring for them. When he'd give directions to our house he would always say it was the house with the beautiful roses in the yard. Now, I have roses all around my yard in memory of Dad. He must be caring for them from Heaven because I never had a green thumb.
