Lawrence H. Tesell, 93, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Worcester, died Sunday, March 16th in his home. His wife, Mary E. (Moody) Tesell, died in 2006.

   He leaves a son, Jack L. Tesell of Torrington, CT; a daughter, Gail G. and her husband, Cliff Mason of Simsbury, CT; 2 grandchildren, Mark Tesell of Worcester and Heather DeRose of Lynn. A brother and sister, Vincent Tesell and Norma Richards, predeceased him.

   He was born in Worcester, the son of John H. and Hilda (Andersen) Tesell and lived here most of his life, moving to Florida 15 years ago. Mr. Tesell was a machinist at several area companies before retiring in 1982. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the Masons, and enjoyed fishing, boating and the ocean.

   The funeral is Saturday, March 22nd with a service at 10:00 A.M. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will be from 9:00 until the time of the service Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
