Subscription Update Obituary

    Lance E. Evans, Sr., 39, of Worcester, died Saturday, December 5 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves three children, Lance E. Evans, Jr., Candace M. Evans and Andre L. Evans; his mother, Ola M. (Adams) Evans; maternal grandmother, Addie L. Adams; two sisters, Sheila Dejarnette, LaDonna Evans-Ampadu and a brother, Robert L. Evans, III, all of Worcester. He also leaves his companion Kelly McCoy, several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was born in Worcester and was predeceased by his father Robert L. Evans, II. Lance was a construction worker and painter in Worcester for many years.

     The funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 11 at Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. A visiting hour will be held in the church from 10AM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers. Arrangements are under the care of CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.
