Korpo Gayflor, 40, of Worcester, MA, passed away, Monday night, March 28, 2011, in Rose Monahan Hospice Home. She is survived by her two children, Mory Sessay, 18 and Fanta Sessay, 16. She was loved by all who knew her, her “sisters”, her friends, and so many others who crossed her path. She is pre-deceased by her husband, and her young son, both of whom passed in Africa.

      Korpo was born in Liberia. She was certified in tie-dying and an accomplished seamstress throughout her life. Korpo performed midwife services while in Africa. After fleeing her war torn country to the refugee camps of Guinea she traveled to the United States with her two children in 2004. Korpo and her children have resided in Worcester since that time.
