Subscription Update Obituary

Kenneth W. Taylor of Sturbridge formally of Worcester died Sunday, January 21st at the Life Care Center of Auburn.

Kenneth was born in West Boylston the son of the late William and Mary (Sloan) Taylor.

He leaves his loving wife of 58 years, Beatrice (Blondin) Taylor; three nieces, Maureen, wife of Robert Smith of Worcester, Kathleen, wife of Peter Larson of Auburn and Susan, wife of Paul Lenkarski of West Boylston; and a cousin Nancy, wife of Armand Bushey of Springfield. He left many nieces and nephews. A sister, Mary, wife of Clifford Welch, preceded him in his death.

Ken graduated from West Boylston High School and Worcester Boy's Trade School. He served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was a proud member of the VFW Post in West Boylston.

Ken was a member of the I.B.E.W. of Worcester and retired as an electrician from Leibman's Electric, Inc in Worcester.

Kenny loved his time he spent in Maine at the beach and ocean and loved dancing with Beatrice.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-6 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. His funeral will be held Thursday from the Funeral Home with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park.
