Kenneth J. Chiapulis, 62, of 58 Evelyn St., died Saturday Sept. 16 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, 119 Belmont St.

He leaves two sons, Michael G. Chiapulis of Dudley and Kenneth J. Chiapulis, II of Warren; a sister, Barbara Assad of Port St. Lucie, FL., two granddaughters, Crystal Chiapulis and Jessica Guillote and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, a son of John and Sybil (Beeso) Chiapulis and lived here all his life.

Mr. Chiapulis was a maintenance worker 12 years for Worcester State College before retiring due to a disability. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. He was a disc jockey and enjoyed music of the 1950’s and 60’s especially Elvis Presley. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

The funeral will be held on Friday Sept. 22 from DIRSA – MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday Sept. 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Michael G.
