Subscription Update Obituary

   Kenneth I. Turner, 78, of North Port, FL, formerly of Marion Ave. in Millbury, MA, passed away Thursday, February 21st in the Arcadia Hospice Home in Florida, after an illness.

   Kenneth's wife of 52 years, Margaret T. (Connolly) Turner, died last year. He leaves a daughter, Debra Webb of Sutton, MA and two sons Kevin Turner of Millbury, MA and Todd Turner of Rockport, MA; four grandchildren, 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; a great grandson; a sister, Silvia Gale of Springfield; nephews and nieces.

   Mr. Turner worked as a heater in the Forge Shop at Wyman-Gordon Co. in Grafton and later became Supervisor in Wyman-Gordon Co., in Millbury. He had worked for 38 years, retiring in 1989. He was a former Millbury Firefighter with Engine 3 in East Millbury and was an Army veteran during WW II and the Korean War. Kenneth was an avid golfer and loved to watch Boston sport teams. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

   His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 26th in the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 25th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arcadia Hospice House, 919 North Arcadia Ave., Arcadia, FL 34266.
