Kenneth E. Hill, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 6 at the Rose Monahan Hospice.
His wife of 42 years, Katherine J. Hill, died in 1997.
He leaves a stepson, Alan Baribeault and his wife Leslie of Napa, Calif., two sisters, Gladys D. Babon of Worcester and Muriel A. Sinclair of Grafton; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces including Deborah Moiles, Janice Conrad and Susan Mills.
His brothers, Frederick and Vincent Hill, and his sisters, Frances G. Horan and Doris M. Nordstrom, predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, son of Harry W. and Fanny A. (Donnellan) Hill and lived in Worcester all his life.
Ken was a graduate of Commerce High School. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Force.
He was a supervisor at the Norton Co., where he worked more than 40 years, retiring in 1985.
Ken was an accomplished golfer and competed successfully among the best Worcester area amateur golfers. He was a longtime member of Green Hill Golf Course.
A calling hour will be held Friday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
