Kathy Ann Desrosiers, 61, died Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a brief illness.  She is survived by her soulmate of 18 years, Gary W. Williams of Worcester; her son, James Carlile of Worcester; two brothers, Kenneth Spooner and John Desrosiers, both of Worcester; two sisters, Julie Besaw of Worcester, and Tammy Desrosiers of Hubbardston; and eight nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a brother, Burt Spooner; and a sister, Gail Strzesak.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John P. Desrosiers and Kathleen M. (George) Hoye, and was a lifelong resident of Worcester.  She graduated from North High School in Worcester in 1980.

Kathy was a certified nurse’s aide at Christopher House in Worcester for 30 years.  She enjoyed spending time at her backyard patio and pool, and loved family gatherings and barbecues where she would cook for everyone.  She enjoyed listening to music and admired the flowers in her yard.

Kathy had a heart of gold.  She was loved by the residents at Christopher House, as well as the staff and resident’s families.  She brough trinkets for her residents to enjoy and genuinely cared about people.

Services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you do a good deed in her memory to improve someone else’s life.

Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
