Subscription Update Obituary

     Kathleen M. (Morrison) Olson, 88, of Marble Street., died June 29, 2007 in her home.
She leaves three sons, Kenneth Olson and his wife Mary Lou of Ohio, Herbert Olson and his wife Debra of Connecticut and David Olson and his Wife Patricia of Upton; two daughters Janice Ripley of New Mexico and Cynthia Stultz and her husband Michael of California; three brothers Robert, John and Richard Morrison, three sisters Natalie Zimmermann, Cynthia Sawyer and Beverly Hermanson; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers Cylde and Dana Morrison and two sisters, Bernice Fraser and Marjorie Carver, predecease her.
     Kathleen was born Ashland, Maine one of eleven children born to the late Michael and Estelle (Alieff) Morrison and has lived in Holden for most of her life, recently moving to Worcester two years ago.
     Ms. Olson worked as a Nursing Aid for many years at the Holden Nursing Center. Kay was a strong determined lady who enjoyed sewing, birds and attending to her garden and most of all a loving caretaker to everyone. Kay was a life long member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
     A funeral service for Kathleen will be held on Tuesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Richards Avenue, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
