Subscription Update Obituary

    Kathleen M. (O'Brian) McCann, 66, of Worcester died on Thursday, February 18th in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

    She is survived by two sons, Sean M. McCann of Marlboro and Timothy J. McCann of Worcester; a sister, Patricia Byrnes and her husband Gerald of Holden; two brothers, David O'Brian of Worcester and Brian Tardiff and his wife K. Eileen of Auburn; 3 grandchildren, Michael Gensler, Kathleen Gensler and Ian McCann; a great granddaughter, Alexis and many nephews and nieces.

    Kathleen was born in Worcester daughter of the late Patrick H. "Tex" and Marie R. (O'Connor) O'Brian, and is also predeceased by a daughter, Donna M. Gensler who died in 1996.

    She worked as a nurse's aide for many years at the Greenery in Worcester and was a member of Saint Peter's Church.

    The funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Peter's Church, 931 Main St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 22nd from 7 to 9 PM in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent to honor Kathleen's memory.
