Karen A. (Welch) Goyette, 65, of 112 Mannville Street died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 in her home, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Clifford P. Goyette; her daughter, Cindy L. Maki and her husband Michael of Rutland; a grandson, Michael E. Maki, Jr., a brother, three sisters, several nieces and nephews and a beloved friend, Stanley Gutridge of Worcester.
Mrs. Goyette was born in Worcester, daughter of Waldo and Edna (Martin) Welch. She worked in the bakery at Wal-Mart in Leicester before retiring due to illness.
The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 11:00 AM in MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent Hospital,c/o Oncology Department, 123 Summer Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
