Subscription Update Obituary

    June M. (Mero) O'Bryant, 83, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010 in her home.

    Her husband of 51 years, Joe T. O 'Bryant died in 2003. She leaves her children, Jeffrey A. O' Bryant and his wife, Kathleen of Fairbanks, Alaska; John E. O'Bryant and his wife, Pamela of Oxford; Jodi A. Vizzo and her husband, Michael of Shrewsbury; a sister, Gloria Snape of Oxford; also survived by 7 grandchildren, Jenelle, Colleen, Mitchell, Michael, Matthew, Timothy and Melissa; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas V. O'Bryant.

    June was born in Worcester, daughter of the late John L. and Catherine (Gualdi) Mero and has lived in Shrewsbury for 9 years. She graduated from Shrewsbury High School and later married the love of her life, Joe and they started their family together, where she was a devoted wife and a big hearted, loving and compassionate mother to her four children.

    She was a member of Saint Anne's Parish in Shrewsbury. June was an avid reader and also enjoyed to cook and entertain her entire family.

    Relatives and friends are invited to visit with June's family on Monday, October 4th from 5-8 PM in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday, October 5th with a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in her parish church, St. Anne's, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
