Subscription Update Obituary

    June M. (Aubin) McLeod, 86, of Worcester, died peacefully Wednesday, July 21st, 2010 in Autumn Village Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.

    She leaves her husband of 66 years, Merdic J. McLeod; three sons, Merdic J. McLeod, Jr. and his wife Nancy of West Chester, PA, Robert J. McLeod and his wife Kerry of Millbury and Ernest P. McLeod and his wife Ann of Worcester; her daughter, Karen M. Richards of Auburn; her brother, Joseph Aubin of Sterling; three sisters, Ann Richardson of Worcester, Grace Mowry of Whitinsville and Jean Savastano of Millbury; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. Five sisters, Bertha Trottier, Beatrice Provencher, Geneva Belanger, Irene Anderson and Dorothy Siagh, four brothers, Ernest, Alfred, Richard and Raymond Aubin and her granddaughter, Michele A. McLeod predeceased her.

    Mrs. McLeod was born in Sterling, the daughter of Samuel and Mildred (Hastings) Aubin. She was a supervisor of food services at the Lutheran Home. Mrs. McLeod was a fantastic cook, loved to sing and enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Old Orchard Beach and Booth Bay, Maine. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.

    There are no calling hours. Family members are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, July 26th at 10:00 AM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June's memory to the United Spinal Association, P.O. Box 2002, Milford, NH 03055.
