Subscription Update Obituary

June E. A. (Watkins) Beauregard, 91, of Worcester, died peacefully Wednesday, September 6th in Millbury Healthcare Center. Her husband of 58 years, Robert C. Beauregard died in 1996. She leaves 3 sons, Robert and his wife Sharyn Beauregard, Richard and his wife Debra Beauregard, all of Worcester and John and his wife Maureen Beauregard of East Douglas; 4 daughters, Patricia wife of Raymond Fontaine of Shrewsbury, Betty Halpin of West Palm Beach, FL, Barbara Sloan of Worcester and June, wife of Charles Kasprzak of North Oxford; 8 grandchildren, Mark and Scott Beauregard, Kara Nadeau, David Lawrence, Jeannine, Matthew and Lizabeth Beauregard, and Nicole Kasprzak and 4 great grandchildren, Jordan and Jason Nadeau and Mahra and Molly Lawrence. Three sisters, Jacqueline Riseden and Marie and Gloria Watkins and a grandson, Glen Halpin predeceased her.

She was born in Waterloo, Canada, the daughter of John and Mary (Greig) Watkins. Mrs. Beauregard was employed by White House Restaurant where she worked as a waitress for 30 years and later as a Directory Assistance Operator for New England Telephone Company for 10 years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter's Church, a former member of St. Paul's Cathedral, and a member of the local AARP and enjoyed traveling with them. Mrs. Beauregard was dedicated to her family and was a very hard worker.

The funeral is Friday, September 8th with a service at 11:00 AM in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, and 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or to Millbury Healthcare Center, Activities Department, and 312 Millbury Avenue, Millbury, MA 01527.
