Subscription Update Obituary

     June C. (Letendre) Legassey, 88, died Friday, October 12, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness.
     June’s husband of 52 years, Adelard J. Legassey died in 1999. She leaves two daughters, Marlene J. Horner of Millbury and Mary Beth wife of Kevin Cotter of Salem; a sister, Carole Hayman of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. June was born in Millbury, daughter of Harold and Albina (Perry) Letendre. She is predeceased by a sister, Gloria Dennis.
     Mrs. Legassey was a lifelong resident of Millbury and graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1943. She was employed at the Felter’s Company in Millbury, where she was the private secretary to the personnel manager. June passions were dancing, being a Blue Bird leader and making rosaries for the missions. She was a member of the Associates with the Sisters of the Assumption. June loved her family very much.
     June’s funeral will be held on Tuesday Oct. 16th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Her burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15th in the funeral home.
