Julia Alice (Budreau) Anderson, 81, of Worcester, has joined the loving arms of our God and is reunited with her loving husband Herb and son Mark.
Mom passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 11, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones where they all heard again how much she loved them. Mom’s life was lived for her children and she loved them all more than anything else. Julia’s creed that her children grew up with was “If you never know anything, know that I love you, and say your Ave.”
Julia was born in Worcester daughter of the late Henry E. and Marjorie (Gagnon) Budreau. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Henry and Billy Budreau, and two sisters, Barbara Dawes and Marion Adamiak. She leaves her most beloved six children, David and his wife Pauline of Wheelwright, Alan and his wife Lisa of Southbridge, Judith Alexander of Worcester, Nancy Gardell of West Boylston, Brian and his wife Christine of Auburn, and Andrew of Worcester, fourteen grandkids and three great grandkids. She loved each and every one in a most personal way. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews including Arthur Adamiak whom she adored.
Julia was a registered nurse who did private duty nursing for many years in the Worcester area.
Julia was a devout Catholic with a strong belief in God and his mercy. She was a longtime member of Ascension Parish and served as a Sacristan, Eucharistic minister and lector. She was most recently a member of St. John’s Parish.
Her legacy is with her children and the love she left with each and every one of them. She left them with great faith and the greatest gift of all to love one another.Calling hours are Wednesday, March 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be Thursday, March 15, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint John’s Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will be private.
