   Juene R. (Essick) Berube,81, of 27 Bottomly Ave., in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Thursday, June 19 at The Meadows of Leicester.

   She was the wife of Leo J. Berube who died in 2000. She leaves a son Donald J. Berube and his wife Kathy of Cherry Valley, a daughter Nancy M. Carlstrom and her husband David of Worcester, a sister Evelyn Kellenberger of Hanover, Pa., a daughter in law Eileen Berube of Leicester, 6 grand children Michelle Palczynski and her husband Michael, Michael Carlstrom, Chris Nolan and his wife Kellee, Julie Berube, Coleen Berube, Lisa Berube, two great grand daughters Zoey and Olivia, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Ronald L. Berube in 2005, a grandson Jason Nolan in 2006, and three sisters Lillian Bell, Leona Ernst and Charlotte Essick and a brother William Essick.

   Mrs. Berube was a shipping clerk for Rand Whitney Corp. in Worcester, before retiring in 1997. Born in New Oxford, Pa., she was the daughter of Leo and Florence (Dietrick) Essick and has lived here since 1961. She graduated from Delone Catholic High School in Hanover, Pa. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish.

   The funeral will be held Monday, June 23 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling will be held on Sunday, June 22, from 3-5p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either American Heart Assoc., 20 Speen St.,.
