Subscription Update Obituary

Josephine (Bubon) Budness Pickett, 84, 19 Reeves St. died Tuesday, Jan. 23rd in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Pickett. She leaves a son, Richard J. and his wife Irene Budness, a grandson, David Budness and a granddaughter, Cristina Budness all of Sutton; two brothers, Raymond Bubon of Auburn and Frank Bubon of Leicester; a sister Alice Michniewicz of Murietta, CA; nephews and nieces. She was born in Palmer and is predeceased by her parents Albert and Bertha (Kos) Bubon, two brothers, Peter Bubon, and John Bubon and two sisters, Mary Vostok and Cecelia Kane.

Mrs. Pickett was a former waitress at the Franklin Manor in West Boylston and at the Charles Restaurant in Worcester.

Her funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 29th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 3 to 6 p.m Sunday, Jan. 28th in the funeral home.
