Subscription Update Obituary

Joseph P. Dalbec, Jr., 63, of Merriam St., died Saturday, November 18th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after being stricken ill at home.

He leaves his wife of 42 years, Dorothy A. (Rivard) Dalbec; his two loving children, Kimberly A. Dalbec and Joseph P. Dalbec, III both of Auburn; his brother, Paul J. Dalbec of Homosassa Springs, FL; his sister, Carol Worthington of Homosassa, FL as well as his niece and nephew, Erin and Eddie Dalbec.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph P. Dalbec, Sr. and Marion (Elliott) Dalbec. He attended Auburn schools.

Mr. Dalbec was a self employed auto body repairman for many years. He was an associate member of the Chester P. Tuttle American Legion Post, Auburn. He loved camping and fishing, but most of all he loved the time he spent with his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, November 21st, from 5 – 8 PM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 22nd at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
