Subscription Update Obituary

     Joseph M. Safo-Agyare, 18, of Charlton and formerly of Worcester passed away, Saturday, May 17, 2014 in St. Vincent Hospital.

     Joseph was born on February 13, 1996 in Worcester to Frank Safo-Agyare and Michelle F. (Allaire) Johnson. He just graduated from North High School this week and was in the process of enrolling this fall to The New England Institute of Arts in Boston.

     Joseph was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his father, Frank Safo-Agyare and his wife Belmira Safo-Agyare of Worcester; his mother Michelle F. (Allaire) Johnson of Worcester/ Charlton; his five brothers, Franklin Safo-Agyare Jr., Michael Safo-Agyare, Ethan Safo-Agyare, Marcus Johnson and Jovaugn Johnson all of Worcester; three sisters, Audreanna Safo-Agyare, Tatianna Johnson and Serenity Jackson all of Worcester; his paternal grandparents, Agnes and Stephen Safo-Sampah of Worcester, his aunts, Gifty Safoa of Worcester , Sophia Dzigba of Ghana , and Lisa (Smith) Warren of Worcester as well as many more aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edmond and Eileen Allaire.

     Joseph “Joey“ enjoyed engaging in many different activities such as football, karate, modeling, and recently music/song writing. He achieved brown belt status in karate, high scores on all MCAS tests and SAT`s and was recently awarded highest achievement in math. He was also a former model for Dynasty Modeling Agency and appeared in many catalogs/ads/musical instrument packaging as well as a few foreign films.

     Family, friends and others whose lives Joseph touched are invited to MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. His funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 in the funeral home. Burial will follow to Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
