Joseph E. Mahoney,79, of Auburn, MA was called home to live his everlasting life with his loving wife on Sunday July 23,2000.  He leaves his 3 loving children, 2 daughters Constance A. Gibbons and her husband John Jr. and Diane M. Wheeler and her husband David both of Worcester. A son Joseph E. Mahoney and his wife Deborah of Worcester. He also leaves 9 Grandchildren John II, Kerry and Patrick Gibbons, Tara, Dori and Jill Mahoney, Jessica, Erica and Richard Mailea-Wheeler, and 4 Great Grandchildren, Taylor-Marie and Michael Mantha Jr.,Asia and Jade Gibbons. He was born on 12-17-1920 to Mr & Mrs John and Viola (Austin) Mahoney. He was married to Doris A. (Kelleher) Mahoney. She passed away on September 4,1974. He is a veteran of WWII, served in the United States Navy on the USS Ticonderoga. He retired from Wyman Gordon after 25 years of service as a Model Maker. His passion was spending time with his family and he loved going to dog racetrack and walking on the beach. We will miss you and love you always, Grandpa!!!
