John Woodward of Thornton, IL, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 in Thornton. John was born in Worcester, son of Dorothy and the late Joseph P. Woodward, Sr. He leaves his mother, Dorothy Woodward, Millbury, his daughter Victoria, grandson, Elijah, Warragul, AUS. He leaves siblings, Joseph Woodward, (Beth) Holden, Diane Farmer, (Alan) Worcester, Marilyn Benson, (Bob) Brooklyn, CT, Jane Robo, (Phil) Leicester, Kathleen Woodward, Worcester, Patricia Woodward, Webster and several nieces and nephews.

John worked as a maintenance technician in Thornton and Massachusetts . A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at St. Brigid Church, Millbury, MA at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
