Subscription Update Obituary

    John P. “Jack” Prucnal, 57, of 8 Cottage St., died peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after a sudden illness.

    He leaves his wife and best friend, Lisa E. (Fortin) Prucnal; two sons: Christopher Prucnal and his wife Melissa of Worcester and Jeffrey Prucnal and Dawn Bigger of Rutland; a daughter, Jenny Davis and her husband Stan of Spencer; his brother, George Prucnal and his wife Karen of Rutland; a grandson, Colby John Prucnal of Worcester.

    Jack worked in the maintenance dept. of Jewish Healthcare for the past 15 years. Previously he worked at Heald Machine, and Fairlawn Rehab all in Worcester.

    He was born in Holden, the son of Mary (George) and John Prucnal of Rutland. Jack was an avid gardener, loved to cook and enjoyed listening to classical music. He loved to vacation in Wells Beach, ME with his family. He had a great sense of humor and always kept everyone laughing. Jack was a former Rutland Police Officer and Firefighter. He will be forever remembered by all.

    Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
