Subscription Update Obituary

John J. “Jack” McPartland, 64, of 10 Valley Hill Dr., died Saturday, May 21, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital.

He leaves his wife of 35 years, Robin L. (Waters) McPartland; a son, Ryan John McPartland; 2 brothers, Larry McPartland of E. Brookfield, and James McPartland of Spencer, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his son, Sean in 2006.

Born in Worcester, son of John J. and Lillian (Brunelle) McPartland, he graduated from David Prouty High School and served in Vietnam with the Army. He worked as a supervisor at G.F. Wright Steel & Wire for many year until his retirement in 2000. Jack enjoyed golf, spending time with his family, and all the Boston teams.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 25 from Caswell-King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St., with a 11 a.m. Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park. Calling hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
