Subscription Update Obituary

John H. Dobson, 90, of 100 Maple Street died Friday, May 19 in Quaboag on the Common, W.Brookfield.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Antoinette C. (Bosse) Dobson, two sons Paul Dobson of Charlton and Alfred Dobson of Southbridge, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first wife Solange (Duquette) Dobson and a brother George Dobson.

Mr. Dobson was born in Southbridge, son of John S. and Lydia (Sparks) Dobson. He owned and operated Dobson’s Garage for many years then worked for 14 years at General Motors in Framingham before retiring in 1981. He was once a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying out of Andrews Airport in Spencer and Southbridge Airport.
