Subscription Update Obituary

   John F. Anderson, 79, formerly of Worcester, died at home on Saturday, November 17 after an illness.

   Mr. Anderson is predeceased by his wife Dorothy A. (Redfield) Anderson. He is survived by a son, Wayne T. Anderson of Auburn; two daughters, Donna L. and her husband William Valley of Palm Coast, FL with whom he lived and Janet L. Giovaninni of Worcester; two sisters, Margaret Munzelle and Mary Gallant both of Worcester; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester son of Roy and Margaret (Hurley) Anderson and is predeceased by three brothers, Richard, James and Robert.

   John is a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He worked as a machine operator for many years at the Reed Plastics Co.

   A funeral will be held on Friday, November 23 at 12 Noon in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held from 10 to 12 Noon before the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 120 Thomas St. Worcester, MA 01608.
