Subscription Update Obituary

     John E. Beck, 66, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013.
     Born in Worcester, son of Robert and Gladys (McCue) Beck, he graduated from North High School and served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. John worked for many years as a systems consultant and programmer. He was an avid golfer, blessed his friends and family with his culinary skills, and was able to integrate his appreciation of nature and love of photography on his trail walks throughout New England. He was a member of the Creative Camera Club of Paxton with his long-time friends, Henry and Ann Sweet, where he received many ribbons and awards in international competitions with the Photographic Society of America.
     He leaves his daughter, Marlene Peacock; brothers, Robert Jr. and Edward, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald.
     Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 4th from 5-7 p.m. in Caswell-King Funeral Home, 474 Grove St. Private interment at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Audubon Society.
