Joan T. (Flynn) Raymond, 66, of Millbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, March 31st, 2006, in her home. Joan is survived by her loving family; three sons: Roger J. Raymond Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Millbury, Steven M. Raymond, and his wife, Patricia, of Worcester, Peter P. Raymond, of Millbury, and Kathleen M. Whitenett, and her husband, Fran, of Paxton; also surviving Joan, are her grandchildren: Emily, Joseph, Steven, Scott, Samantha, Mathew, and Haley; her brother, Charles McCarthy Jr., of Concord; and nephews and nieces. Joan was predeceased by her brothers: John and David Flynn; her stepfather, Charles T. McCarthy Sr., and her former husband, Roger J. Raymond Sr.

Joan was born in Worcester daughter of John Flynn Sr. and Hazel (Hedlund) Flynn- McCarthy, and lived in Worcester for many years, before moving to Millbury over 10 years ago. Joan enjoyed being a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, and child care. Joan was a member of Our Lady Of Assumption Parish in Millbury, a member of the Green Island Association, and she was an avid bowler, and enjoyed Bingo.
