Subscription Update Obituary

   Joan K. (Murphy) Dalton, 80, died Tuesday, October 3, 2007 in her residence. Her husband John J. Dalton Jr. died in 1994.

   She leaves three daughters, Rosemary A. Hanson of Minnesota, Pamela A. Paradis & Joan R. Sisco with whom she lived; a brother, John F. Murphy of Texas and a sister, Shirley C. Wood of Worcester; 9 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, James B. Murphy and a granddaughter, Denise Paradis.

   Joan was born in Worcester the daughter of James B. & Katherine J. (Gordon) Murphy and she has lived in Spencer for 60 years. Joan worked at Klevin Shoe Co. until its closing and Dienis Machine Shop until she retired in 1992. She was a member of the American Legion Gaudette Kirk Post 138 Ladies Auxillary.

   The funeral for Joan will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 1:00 PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
