Subscription Update Obituary

JoAn F. (Gonyea) O’Toole, 63, died Thursday, November 16, 2006, at Hughes Health & Rehab. Center in West Hartford, after a long illness.

She leaves her son, Michael R.E. O’Toole and his wife Jennifer of West Hartford, CT; her daughter, Erin M. O’Toole and her husband Eric Coffelt of Ketchum, ID; a sister, Michele M. Curtis and her husband James of Rutland; a granddaughter, Maeve Coffelt; her former husband, Gerald C. O’ Toole of Ketchum; an aunt, Frances M. Norris; cousins, nieces and nephews. She was born and raised in Worcester, daughter of Joseph E. and Rita A. (Hurley) Gonyea, and made Western Mass. Hospital in Westfield her home for six years before recently moving to West Hartford.

JoAn was a graduate of South High School and she was owner and operator of Home Fabric Interiors in Lenox, MA. She was very artistic and enjoyed interior decorating and painting and was also an avid sports fan. The church community was very meaningful to her.

The funeral for JoAn will be held on Monday, Nov. 20, from the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, with a Mass at 1 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Rutland. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in JoAn’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mass. Chapter, 101A First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
