Jennie M. (Parmenter) Graslie, 67, of 8 Terkanian Drive died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in UMass Memorial Healthcare after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 45 years Wayne Graslie, two sons Gary A. Graslie and his wife Barbara of Worcester, Ellis Chaffee and his wife Brenda of Charlton, a daughter Susan C. Rybicki and her husband Bernard of Worcester, four grandchildren Hethaer, Danielle, Nicholas & Alex, a great-granddaughter McKayla, a brother Elmer Parmenter of Millbury, a sister Eleanor Johnson and her husband Paul of Spencer and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Charles R. Parmenter.

Mrs. Graslie was born in Leicester, daughter of Charles and Phoebe (Chaffee) Parmenter. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North Brookfield. She loved music and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the lead vocal in the former local band Family Tradition for over 15 years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11 at 9:30 AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 108 New Braintree Road, North Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation, P.O. Box 767, Framingham, MA 01701.
