Jeffrey “Jeff” J. Perron, 48, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, December 10th in UMass Memorial Hospital – University Campus. He leaves his parents, John and Charlene (Lund) Perron of Worcester; a brother, Christopher J. Perron of Cranston, RI; two aunts, Judy Rinaldi and her husband, Paul of South Venice, FL and Joanne Murphy of Lancaster, MA; an uncle, Michael Mealey of Poinciana, FL; and his cousins, Eddy, Paul, Cassie, Rachel, Mike Jr., Marlene, Kelli, Allison and Natalie. He was predeceased by two aunts, JoAnn Mealey and Barbara Lund Tarkiainen.

Jeff attended the former Worcester Vocational High School where he studied electrical. After graduating, he worked as an apprentice electrician until 1999 when he was in an accident that left him quadriplegic. During Jeff’s time in rehabilitation, he developed a desire to help others who were also quadriplegic. He pursued an education in psychology and earned an associates degree from Quinsigamond Community College, a bachelors degree from Worcester State University and a masters degree from Assumption College.

Jeff was a kind, loving individual with many friends that he enjoyed spending time with. He called no man enemy. He enjoyed music and liked to collect vinyl albums. He also enjoyed “cruising” around town in his wheelchair. Jeff accomplished much despite his injuries and had been a great influence to those around him. His spirit was an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be missed.

His calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 18th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
