Subscription Update Obituary

   Jeffrey B. Walker, 49, died Saturday, July 1, 2006, in UMass Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He leaves his wife of 30 years, Kathy A. (West) Walker; his son, Brian C. Walker of Webster, his daughter, Christie N. Walker of Melrose, 2 sisters, Linda McHugh of S.C. and Kathy Blanchard of Pittsfield, his mother-in-law, Beverly West, and aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Parker, a brother, Robert Walker, and his father-in-law, Melvin West. Jeffrey was born in Worcester, son of the late Charles Kempton and Marjorie (Orstrom) Walker. He was a graduate of Burncoat High and worked for more than 25 years at Morgan Construction Co. Jeffrey served proudly in the U. S. Air Force from 1975 – 1979 and enjoyed fishing, audiovisual communications, and motorcycle riding. He was a member of the Uxbridge Church of the Nazarene. His family and his Savior were his everything. He now rejoices in the presence of the Lord. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Uxbridge Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held today, Thursday, July 6, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester. The family requests donations in lieu of flowers be sent to Sun Valley Indian School, c/o Uxbridge Church of the Nazarene, 130 Douglas St., Uxbridge, MA 01569. Jeffrey participated in a mission trip to Sun Valley, and it touched his heart.
