Jeannette S. (Gratton) Trotto, 85, of Alder Street, in Worcester, passed away Friday, September 7, 2007, in Southern Maine Medical Center, Biddeford, Maine.
     She leaves her husband of forty years, Joseph Trotto; her four children, Micheline Brisson and her husband Yvon of Worcester, Helene Doucette and her husband Robert of Charlton; Louis Georges Quidoz and his wife Brenda of Fitchburg; and Jacques Quidoz and his wife Maggie of Ottawa, Canada; six grandchildren, Nathalie Oliveri and her husband Anthony, Josee Brisson-Jose and her husband David, Keith Doucette, Michele Piergallini and her husband Tony, Lisa Graves and her husband Peter, and Louise Quidoz; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Her first husband, Gerard Quidoz, as well as a sister, Anna Boisvert, both pre-deceased her. Jeannette was born in Lefebvre, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Palma and Anna (Lalonde) Gratton.
     Jeannette worked as a real estate developer and business women for many years, while living in Canada. She moved here in 1966 and continued to be and active business woman and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
     The funeral for Jeannette will be held Tuesday, September 11, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 12 Noon in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held Monday, September 10, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
