Jean C. (Foley) Quinn, of Worcester, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center after a short illness.

   Her husband of 37 years, Francis X. "Buck" Quinn, died in 1987. She leaves a daughter, Linda J. McKay and her husband Joseph W. McKay of Paxton; three grandchildren: Kathleen Iaccarino and her husband Steven Iaccarino of Bellingham, Joseph Quinn McKay and Christopher Andrew McKay, both of Paxton; a cousin, Gwen Steele of Shelburne, VT.; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

   She was born in Worcester, daughter of Frank H. and Helen (Cottrell) Foley and lived in Worcester all her life. She graduated from South High School in Worcester and attended Boston University. Mrs. Quinn was an administrative assistant to senior executives at the Paul Revere Insurance Co. in Worcester. She worked there more than 30 years, retiring in 1989.

   She was a member of the Guild of Our Lady of Providence and the Friday Afternoon Club. Jean always enjoyed the company of friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

   Calling hours, at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Friday, May 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday, May 24 from the funeral home with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Columba's Church, 18 Richards Ave., Paxton. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
