Subscription Update Obituary

    Janice M. (Leslie) Bond, 62, of Adams Road, died on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at home after an illness.

   Her husband of twelve years, Robert C. Bond, died in 2000. She leaves a brother, Richard F. Leslie and his wife Bonnie of Rutland; three sisters, Jean Leslie Bisson of Worcester, Joan N. Perna and her husband Gerald of Worcester and Mary J. Morrison and her husband Thomas of Rutland; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

    She was born in Worcester the daughter of Joseph E. and Nellie U. (Tebo) Leslie and lived in Hubbardston for over 15 years. Janice graduated from Commerce High School in 1966 and attended Clark University. She was employed at UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester for many years before retiring.

    The funeral service for Janice will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Why Me Inc., 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA 01602. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
