Subscription Update Obituary

Janice J. (Oliver) Abdow, 69, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly Wednesday April 25, 2012 at home. She is survived by her beloved children; Peter R. Abdow of Worcester, Kimberly B. Abdow of Shrewsbury; her two brothers; Paul V. Oliver of Caribou Maine, and James J. Oliver of Auburn, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Janice was born in Worcester daughter of the late Jerry and Jean (Dolan) Oliver. She graduated from Commerce High School, earned her degree from Worcester State College and lived in Worcester, before moving to Auburn 10 years ago. Janice started with The Fallon Community Health Plan in 1988 and was a valued employee and dear friend to all of her Fallon family for the next 24 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church. Janice’s joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with them and will be dearly missed.
Janice’s funeral will be held Wednesday May 2, 2012 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 in the funeral home prior to the funeral Mass. Interment in Worcester County Memorial Park, in Paxton will be private.
