Janet T. (Plude) Lavallee, 73, of Auburn, died on Tuesday, February 5, in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lawrence J. Lavallee of Auburn; a son, Lawrence J. Lavallee of Charlton; two brothers, Raymond Barrett and Victor Barrett both of Oxford; a sister, Florence Wentworth of Worcester; 2 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Janet was born in Worcester daughter of H. George and Evelyn (Lauzier) Plude.
Janet grew up in the city of Worcester. She attended Cambridge Street School. In the early 1960's she worked at the Worcester Brush Company. From the mid 1960's to mid 1970's she became a homemaker. Towards the end of the 1970's she returned to the workforce as a housekeeper at Bancroft Nursing Home, City Hospital and finally retiring from Knollwood Nursing home around 1995. She lived the rest of her life in Auburn. She greatly enjoyed the company of her favorite dog, Lady, as well the house parrot, Buddy.
