Subscription Update Obituary

James V. Cicero, 86, of Spencer, died Saturday, June 22 at Quaboag Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Brookfield. He leaves his wife of 65 years, Sandra S. (Santimore) Cicero, his daughters; Wendy A. Miner and her husband Allan of Spencer, Lisa M. Brown and her husband Roswell of Palm Coast, Fl., and Shelly T. Rudik and her partner John Kowszik of Millbury, his son; Todd A. Cicero of Leicester, 5 grandchildren; Amanda Gauthier, John and Jeff Rudik, Micheala and Alisha Brown, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters and his grandson: Jason Miner.

Jim was born in Worcester, the son of Carlo and Felicia (Sciascia) Cicero and later served his country in the US Navy.
He worked for Masiello Construction Co. in Worcester for many years and later as a custodian for the Spencer-E.Brookfield School District.

The family would like to give sincere thanks for the care given by the staff at Quaboag.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 10 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the services from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA, 18901 or to the MA/NH Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada St., Suite 201, Newton, MA, 02460.
