    Jacqueline L. Jarrett, 64, of Worcester, passed away peacefully with her family on September 30, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Arthur G. Jarrett Jr.; four children and one adoptive son: Angela M. Ukpong and her husband Iboro Ukpong of Charlton, Arthur J. Jarrett III and his wife Jilda of Worcester, Anthony J. Jarrett and his wife Tonya of Gardner, Amelia S. Mazilu and her husband Nicolae of Worcester, and Roberto and his wife Stephanie Cespedes of Worcester. She also leaves eight grandchildren: Sarah and Rebekah Ukpong, Bryce and Noah Jarrett, Madyson, Morgan, and Manaseh Jarrett, and Naomi Cespedes.

    Jacqueline was born in Brookport, IL on August 19, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Silas and Robert Otis Williams Sr. Jacqueline received her formal education from the Illinois Children’s Hospital School in Chicago, IL, and later graduated from the Metropolis Community High School, in Metropolis, IL. She also attended Southern Illinois University.

    Jacqueline later relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where she was united in Holy Matrimony to Arthur G. Jarrett Jr., and they decided to make their home in Worcester, MA. This union was blessed with two daughters, Angela and Amelia and two sons, Arthur and Anthony.

    She is survived by siblings: Precious Marcella Nelson and Vernita Washington (Moses), of Maywood IL; Iris Jean King (Artway) of Maywood IL, Satyra Brown (David), of Kenosha WI, and Madeline Carol Greene of Maywood IL. She was predeceased by four siblings: Robert Williams Jr., Esther Shannon, Yvonne Crockett, and Francis Williams. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

    Jacqueline enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She had an incredible relationship with God, unshakeable faith, and lived what she believed. She was a member of Redemption Rock church in Westminster, MA. A mother to all, she was a caring and gentle person who touched all those who knew her. She enjoyed reading; especially her Bible, praying for anyone that would ask, taking care of her family, and helping others. She leaves a legacy of precious memories to be cherished by her husband, Arthur, her children, and her grandchildren.

    The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 7, at 10:00 A.M. at Redemption Rock Church, 1 Hager Park Rd., (Route 140), Westminster. Burial will follow in Wrocester Memorial Park, Paxton.

    Calling hours are Tuesday, October 6, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg.
