Subscription Update Obituary

   Isabel "Betty" (Waitkus) Chysna, 87, passed away peacefully Wednesday night, April 2, 2008, surrounded in love by her family and friends.

   Her husband, Albert "Bookie" Chysna, passed September 7, 1987. Betty was laid to rest in Worcester County Memorial Park following private funeral services. She is survived by her children, Robert, Reverend Richard, Donna Marie (Dondy) and Nancy, 6 grandchildren, Dwayne, Monique, Justin, Chad, Kevin and Julie, 6 great grandchildren, Dwayne Jr., Desirae, Hayley, Jacob, Evan, Aaron and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson Richard James II "Jaime" and great-grandson Cody.

   Isabel was born May 31, 1920 in Worcester the daughter of the late Margaret (Bagdis) and Christopher Waitkus. Betty was very proud of her Lithuanian heritage and in 1995 she found her brother Petros Jarusevicius whom she had never met living in Daugus Lithuania while visiting her homeland. Mrs. Chysna was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Vilna Catholic Church in Worcester. She cherished her personal relationship with her lord Jesus.

   Memorial donations may be made in her name to Millbury Healthcare Center, Activities Fund, 312 Millbury Ave., Millbury, MA 01527 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Betty will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Roney Funeral Homes of Grafton.
