Subscription Update Obituary

Irene T. (Tootle) Blinn of Holden, died on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, Worcester.

Her husband of 44 years, Samuel F. Blinn, died in 1993. She leaves her three daughters, Nancy E. Robbie and her husband Glenn, and Judith E. Pasierb and her husband Peter, all of Holden, and Carolyn J. Himottu and her husband Paul of Sterling; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Crosby, Alyssa, Peter, Jr. and Jeffrey. She was born in Acushnet and has lived in Holden since 1977.

Mrs. Blinn worked as a librarian and office manager in the Worcester Area prior to retirement.

A private funeral service honoring Mrs. Blinn’s life will be held in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Donations may be made to Our Father’s House, Inc., (a charity that helps the homeless), P.O. Box 7251, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
