Subscription Update Obituary

     Mrs. Irene R. (DeLuca) Bria, 80, of Vernon St., died Tuesday, October 9th at UMass Hospital surrounded by her family.

     She is survived by a daughter, Jeanette M. Bussolari and her husband Raymond of West Boylston, four sons, Thomas A. Bria of Worc., James M. Bria of Worc., Peter F. Bria and his wife Elizabeth of Worc., and Angelo J. Bria Jr. and his wife Deborah of Sterling; two brothers, Frank DeLuca of Worc., Peter DeLuca of Holden; two sisters, Shirley DeLuca of Oxford, Evelyn DeLuca of San Bruno, California; four grandchildren, Peter Bria, Matthew Bria, Joseph Bussolari, and Angelina Bria; two step grandchildren, Jason Gambicini and Jesse C. Williams, also many nieces, nephews,and cousins.

     Mrs. Bria was predeceased by her brothers, Angelo, James, Louis, Anthony, Ernie, and Ralph, and a sister, Rosemarie Connor.

     She was born October 19, 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Peter M. and Jennette (Caloiaro) DeLuca. Wife of fifty-four years to the late Angelo J. Bria Sr. who passed in 2004. Mrs. Bria moved from Utah at an early age and settled in Rutland. She was educated through the Rutland Schools graduating from Rutland High School. She was a homemaker who loved being with her family, enjoyed watching Boston sports teams, and being with her husband, children and grandchildren. Mrs. Bria was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church in Worcester, Ma.

     Her funeral will be held Friday, October 12th from LOUIS FAZIO & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St., Worcester at 9am with a Mass at Our Lady of Loreto Church Worcester at 10am. Interment to follow in Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Louis M. Fazio III and Louis M. Fazio Jr.
