Subscription Update Obituary

   Irene E. "Renie" (Moennig) Martin, 72, of 8512 Gallberry Circle and formerly of Worcester, Mass., died June 18 at home after an illness.
  
She leaves her husband, Leo J. Martin; five daughters, Linda Ann Glickman of Gainesville, Fla., Donna Lee Meehan of Plymouth, Mass., Diana Lou Towner of Auburn, Mass., Debra Dee Martin of Blachly, Ore., and Dina-rae Martin of Worcester; a sister, Doris French of Audubon, Pa.; three grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and a niece and nephew. She was born in Boston, Mass., raised in West Roxbury, Mass., daughter of Adolph O. and Elfreida (Goetze) Moennig, and moved to Worcester in 1949. She graduated in 1943 from Roslindale High School. She spend summers in South Dennis, Mass., before moving to Florida in 1990.
  
Mrs. Martin and her husband owned and operated for 12 years Renie and Leo's Restaurant in Webster Square. She traveled extensively throughout the world and published sightseeing tips and information about her trips. An accomplished golfer and tennis player, she was a member of the Community of Savanna Club where she was president of the Tennis Association a! nd Boccie Club. She also founded a cribbage club.
  
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 14 in St. Michael's-On-The-Heights, 340 Burncoat St., Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Martin's name to Hospice of St. Lucie, 2030 Southeast Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL 34996.
