   Irene E. (Cloutier) Mahoney, 68, of 42 Burncoat St., formerly of 78 Tower St., died Sunday in her home after a long illness.
   Her husband, Francis W. Mahoney Sr., died in 1978. She leaves a son, Terrence E. Mahoney of Worcester; three daughters, Irene A. Dadah of Worcester, with whom she lived, Kathleen Sunden and Colleen Burbo, both of Auburn; two brothers, Francis Cloutier of Albany, N.Y., and David Cloutier of Worcester; two sisters, Agnes Belair of Whitinsville and Elizabeth Green of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Francis W. Mahoney Jr. of Worcester, died in 1971. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Eugene J. and Stasia (Maslowski) Cloutier, and lived here all her life.
   She worked for Nypro Products of Clinton for many years before she retired. Mrs. Mahoney was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.
   The funeral will be held Thursday from Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Program, 120 Thomas St., Worcester 01608.
